Taman Safari and the orangutan

Here is a baby orangutan - absolutely adorable and sooo cuddly. She just would not let go of mum and kept wanting to cuddle into her.

There is a baby section at the zoo where you can actually hold onto and interact with some of the smaller animals. Here we are hugging and playing with a baby lion. There is also one picture with a baby white tiger - although he is rather large now.

Just a couple of animals that you see along the way. The Lions are literally right beside the car. This orangutan looks a little worse for age - don't you think?

Taman Safari

We took mum and dad to the safari park just outside of Jakarta. It's a great park, you drive around through all the different animal areas. On the way up there, there are 100's of kids selling carrots on the side of the road - which you later feed to the zebra's, deers and camels. As you can see the animals are not scared of putting their noses into the car to get a munch of the carrots.

Happy New Year

We went to our favourite restaurant in Bali - Massimo's (it's Italian). It's a really family orientated feel to it and Massimo had a great show lined up for New Year's Eve. Along with some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted, we had a great night.
